In a context marked by the challenge of reactivating cultural activities post-pandemic, this project was a pioneer in implementing health safety protocols in the province. As the first cultural center to reopen its doors to the public, we developed a model that allowed for events with limited capacity and strict biosecurity measures.

I played a dual role as Coordinator of Cultural Programming and Designer of Communication Pieces. This combination of responsibilities allowed me to influence both the logistics and content of events, as well as their visual communication.

POV

The challenge of designing communication pieces amid a pandemic required an innovative approach. Each poster, flyer, and social media post not only needed to be visually appealing but also informative and educational about the new health protocols. Signage and informational material became key pieces to guide attendees and ensure compliance with safety measures.

The success of this project lies in the seamless integration of creativity and functionality in graphic design. The ability to effectively communicate in such a challenging context demonstrated that design can be a powerful tool to connect with the public, promote safety, and revitalize culture. This project not only made an impact on the province's cultural community but also reinforced my belief in the transformative power of design.
